Options
Black or brown
Black is the signature Arden finish. Brown swaps the black exterior for warm natural timber tones.
Harvia Legend heater, in black or silver
Every Arden comes with a 10.8kW Harvia Legend heater. Its tall stone column holds around 100kg of stones, and Harvia rates it for sauna rooms of 9 to 18m³. Pour water over the stones for soft, rolling steam.
Clear or tinted glass
Clear glass is standard. Tinted glass on every panel is £395, for more privacy in an overlooked garden.
Tailored to you
Because every Arden is built to order, we can add further upgrades, such as a backlit salt wall. Ask us for options and prices.
Before you buy: power
The 10.8kW Legend runs on a UK single-phase supply with its own 50A circuit, or a 400V three-phase supply (3 × 16A). A 50A circuit is a significant load for a home, so have a registered electrician check your supply before you order. All electrics must be installed and certified to BS 7671; we don't carry out household electrical work.
Lead time, delivery and installation
Arden saunas are built to order and usually ready in 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the model and options. We confirm your timing when you order. Delivery and installation are quoted for your address: we build the sauna and set it in position, and the base and electrics are arranged separately. We're happy to advise on a suitable base.
See our saunas in person at our showroom, by appointment: Ash Tree Farm, Stoke Albany Road, Northamptonshire, NN14 2SP. Book a visit or ask us anything about siting, power and delivery.

Rough estimates to help you plan. Outdoor figures include 45 minutes to heat up, then the heater switching on and off to hold the temperature while you're inside (50% on-time). The weather and how hot you like it make a difference too. Prices use the average UK electricity rate of 26.32p per kWh (Ofgem price cap average, Oct–Dec 2026). Your own bill will depend on your tariff and how you use it.
Will it fit in my garden?
Check the size and footprint in the specifications, then leave extra clearance around the cabin for installation and maintenance. Our 2-minute garden check matches your space against our outdoor saunas.
What base does it need?
A firm, flat, load-bearing base, such as a concrete pad, paving slabs or a suitably built deck. Saunas are heavy, so soft lawn or loose gravel won't do. We don't lay bases, but we're happy to advise on which one to use.
What power supply does it need?
It depends on the heater, so check the electrical supply in the specifications above. Every sauna heater needs its own dedicated circuit, installed and certified by a registered electrician to BS 7671, and larger heaters need a bigger circuit or a three-phase supply. Ask your electrician to check your supply has capacity before you order.
Do I need planning permission?
Often not. In England, most garden saunas fall under permitted development as outbuildings, within size, height and siting limits. Read our planning guide.
Can I see it before buying?
Yes, by appointment at our showroom: Ash Tree Farm, Stoke Albany Road, Northamptonshire, NN14 2SP. Many of our saunas are built to order or tailored to each customer, so the models on display change from time to time. Book a visit, tell us which sauna you'd like to see, and we'll confirm what's on display before you travel.
