Rough estimates to help you plan. Outdoor figures include 45 minutes to heat up, then the heater switching on and off to hold the temperature while you're inside (50% on-time). The weather and how hot you like it make a difference too. Prices use the average UK electricity rate of 26.32p per kWh (Ofgem price cap average, Oct–Dec 2026). Your own bill will depend on your tariff and how you use it.

Choosing your sauna

All FAQs
Which sauna is right for me?

For one or two people in a smaller garden, start with Solen Compact, our signature sauna. For four to six people, Solen Plus adds a full-glass front in a 160 × 160cm footprint. For bigger groups and big glass, look at our Arden range, built to order. For indoors, The Orb™ collection from Insignia Wellness comes in one, two and three-person sizes.

Traditional or infrared: which should I choose?

Both are great ways to enjoy heat. A traditional sauna heats the air, stones and timber around you, and you pour water on the stones for steam. An infrared sauna warms you more directly at lower air temperatures, which many people find gentler, and suits indoor spaces. Our Solen and Arden saunas are traditional and live outdoors; The Orb™ is indoor infrared.

How much does delivery cost?

Solen Compact and Solen Plus: £395 to England and Wales, £900 to mainland Scotland and £1,500 to Northern Ireland, with free collection from our Northamptonshire showroom for Solen Compact. The Orb™ indoor saunas: £149 to England and Wales, £249 to mainland Scotland and £349 to Northern Ireland. Arden saunas are quoted for your address, and the Scottish islands are quoted individually. Can I see a sauna before I buy?

Yes, by appointment at our showroom: Ash Tree Farm, Stoke Albany Road, Northamptonshire, NN14 2SP. Many of our saunas are built to order or tailored to each customer, so the models on display change from time to time. Book a visit, tell us which sauna you'd like to see, and we'll confirm what's on display before you travel.
