How infrared differs
Infrared panels warm you directly rather than heating the air, so the cabin runs at lower air temperatures than a traditional sauna. Many people find this gentler, and it suits longer sessions indoors.
Before you buy
- Space: a level indoor floor with room for the cabin and for the door to open. Measure the route through your home, including doors, stairs and corners.
- Power: ask us and we'll confirm the supply your model needs before you order. If a new circuit is needed, it must be installed by a registered electrician.

What power supply does it need?
Ask us and we'll confirm the supply for your chosen model before you order. If it needs a new circuit, it must be installed and certified by a registered electrician.
Can I control The Orb™ from my phone?
Yes, on The Orb™ Plus and The Orb™ Max. Both have a smart touchscreen, and with the Wi-Fi upgrade (£39.99, chosen when you order) you can also control the sauna from your phone. The Orb™ has a standard touch control panel with four memory presets, without Wi-Fi control.
Who makes The Orb™?
The Orb™ collection is designed by Insignia Wellness and sold by ZÖLSTICE Wellness in partnership with Insignia. You buy from us, with the same support as any ZÖLSTICE sauna.
How is infrared different from a traditional sauna?
A traditional sauna heats the air, stones and timber around you, and you pour water on the stones for steam. Infrared panels warm you more directly at lower air temperatures, which many people find gentler and more comfortable, and it suits indoor use. See all our saunas.

Insignia Wellness's warranty covers the wood for 3 years and the electricals for 2 years.
